First off, we always always always focus on the real pieces of care that help differentiate our clients. Some clients do this with different program offerings such as complete continuums of care, others with unique specialty treatments for special populations. How the clients do it is critical to how we talk about it and how we link clinical excellence as well as patient expertise to market growth.

Remember, how we portray clinical treatment and the experiences of patients are interlinked to what actually happens at the provider. If we consider clinical excellence a baseline expectation for patients and we use specialty programming as a core of our marketing strategy for a client, then they don't deliver... well, that leads to inherent mistrust. Like Nick stated in the video, think back to that bad restaurant. Your experience didn't match your expectation nor their messaging and now no amount of new messaging can change that inherent distrust.
