Don't Forget to Consider the patient journey to care

You need to understand the customer journey, the different points each customer passes through on their way to making a decision about who to buy from. Also, remember that not everyone has the same journey to addiction treatment or behavioral health services.

The concept of a patient/customer journey however, is not new. Facebook even has their own version that they advocate creators to use when making ads in order to put out top of the line content.

Ad Format Matters

Setting up a Facebook ad takes a lot of time and insight into what works. This even includes taking the ad format into account. It is recommended that you take some time to review the Facebook Blueprint lesson on Formats that are available on the platform before you launch a new ad set. Check it out here.

With Ads Manager, you can create collection ads, choose visuals specific to each ad placement and use templates to build videos with the Video Creation Kit.

The type of format you choose for the ad is not the only factor to consider before creating and publishing your ad. Another thing to keep in mind is ad placement. Placements are where your ads will appear, and Facebook offers a variety of ways to reach your audiences where they are most likely to be.
